I am a mentor in the visual arts. My mentee and I are about half way through, in a program running approximately 6 months. Our meetings have been extremely pleasant and apart from a feeling of really being able to support another artist in her work, I am also getting an insight into the local scene, which was new to me, and I am seeing new possibilities for me through our collaboration.
